Vendor Statement

Haywire Farm is a first generation small family farm located in Gillies Township, established in 2007 by Zachary and Ericka Reszitnyk. We are proud to have the largest commercial chicken vending license in the Thunder Bay area underneath the Artisanal Chicken License (4797).

Our passion comes from knowing where your food comes from and using our animals to provide nutrients back into the land. We believe in pasture raising & rotationally grazing our animals.

We offer whole fresh chickens or fresh chicken cuts to our customers. From our laying chickens, we also sell free range eggs. We are also raising Heritage breed pork from farrow to finish. We raise Berkshire sows and Hereford boar, which allows for great marbling with minimal fat cap. All of our animals are fed local grain from Thunder Bay Feeds.
