Vendor Statement
The idea to start Red Door Metalworks was born out of a dream by founder Amanda Strobel that she was making jewelry. This inspired her to start her business in 2016 where she began making stamped jewelry. Inspired by the geometric patterns used as a quilter, she later transitioned to geometric minimalist style pieces and they are now her focus. She hand forges each piece of jewellery (earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc) on an old 1950’s kitchen table at her studio from bronze and sterling silver sheet metal and wire.
She is also developing a line of home decor – sun-catchers and air plant holders.
